Precompetition rituals are important as we all know carbing up and fueling properly is important for best performance.
1. Meditating, visualizing a positive result! Dream big, visualize a win!
2. Pre-game snack 2 to 4 hours before a big event, for example 1 portion protein, a carbohydrate, and a portion of fat, i.e. toast and almond butter with jelly, and 250 ml Gatorade.
3. Eating Starbuck's chocolate covered coffee beans.
4. Drinking two Starbuck's espresso shots.
5. Looking at fitsporation!
6. Drinking beet juice and a wheat grass from Booster Juice.
7. Believe in yourself!
8. Positive self-talk, "you can, and you will"... "you came this far, keep going".
9. Stay with routine, do what has worked, what is tried and true.
10. Being organized. Have your bag packed the night before.
11. Be early, leave early. You never know when and if you might need to stop for extras.
Have fun!
